Dr. Joy Mani is well experienced in managing all medical conditions. His core areas of expertise include metabolic syndrome, life style diseases, critical care medicine, cardiac and respiratory diseases.

Medical Education

Dr. Joy Mani completed his MBBS from the Government Medical College, Kottayam in 1982. After this, he pursued his Diploma in Anaesthesiology (DA) from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram in 1987. He then went on to attain his Post-Graduation in MD (General Medicine) the Government Medical College, Kottayam in 1990.

Dr. Joy Mani’s illustrious career began as Physician, Anesthesiologist and Director of a Private Limited hospital in 1990. He then worked as a Specialist and later as Consultant in Medical ICU in Saudi Arabia where is experience broadened with major medical cases in Heat stroke management, Liver Fluke and Acute chest syndromes. He returned to Kerala as Medical Director and Head in General Medicine including MICU with the Paalana Institute of Medical Sciences in Palakkad. Later, he worked as Senior Consultant & Medical Superintendent in HGM Hospital Muttuchira, Kottayam and prior to joining Mar Sleeva Medicity Palai he was Senior Consultant & Co-Ordinator in Internal Medicine at KIMS Kottayam. During the span of his career, a book titled “Socio-Medical Satire” – about the poor system of Medical education, Research and Unethical medical practices, was also published by him at Public Library, Kottayam.
