What You'll Learn

The programme builds practical skills in respiratory and critical care: operating and managing mechanical ventilators, performing pulmonary function tests, delivering oxygen therapy and airway management, arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, and supporting patients through nebulisation and respiratory rehabilitation. Students train inside working ICUs and pulmonology units, so learning stays hands-on rather than theoretical.

Career Scope

Respiratory therapists are essential wherever critically ill patients need breathing support, which keeps demand steady across the health sector. Graduates work in intensive care units, pulmonology and respiratory departments, emergency and casualty units, and sleep and pulmonary function labs. The role is central to patient survival in critical care, managing the equipment and therapies that keep breathing stable.
