What You'll Learn
The programme builds practical skills across the full sterile-processing cycle: decontamination and cleaning of surgical instruments, sterilisation methods including steam autoclaving, ETO and low-temperature plasma, correct packing and storage of sterile items, sterile stock and inventory control, and infection-control and biomedical-waste protocols. Students train inside a working central sterile supply department, so learning stays hands-on rather than theoretical.

Eligibility
- Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or an equivalent examination, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. A relaxation of 5% in marks is granted for SC/ST candidates.
- Candidates who have completed the VHSE (Vocational Higher Secondary Education) with at least 50% marks in aggregate for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are also eligible. SC/ST candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in marks.
