In theranostics, there are 4 therapy rooms for different radionuclide therapies, which includes I-131 radioiodine therapy for hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancers, Ga-68 PSMA for diagnosis of prostate cancer, Lu-177/Ac-225/Tb-161 PSMA for treatment of prostate cancer. For diagnosis of neuroendocrine tumors, Ga-68-DOTANOC is used and Lu-177/Ac-225/Tb-161 DOTATATE for treatment of neuroendocrine tumors. These radionuclide therapies are targeted at specific cancer cells with minimal harm to normal cells, giving good disease control with better quality of life.
