Dr. Manjula Ramachandran completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam in 1999. She pursued her post graduation in General Medicine and earned her MD in 2003 from Government Rajaji Medical College, Madurai. She then went on to attain her DM in Nephrology from Government Medical College, Kottayam in 2007, graduating with First Rank and a Gold Medal. In 2009, she also secured her MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, UK. She has authored three international research papers to her credit.
She is a true pioneer in renal transplant programme within the private health sector of Kottayam district and has initiated three successful renal transplants over 24 hours, which truly is a landmark in the history of renal transplant in the state.
