Dr. Geetha completed her MBBS from TD Medical College, Alapuzha in 1986. She completed her MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from M P SHAH Government Medical College Sourastra University, Gujarat in the year of 1992. She has fellowship in Gynaec Laparoscopic Surgeries.

Dr. Geetha worked as Consultant Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Karothukuzhy Hospital Aluva during the period 1992-1993. After that she worked with St. Thomas Hospital, Kattanam during the year 1993-1995. After that she worked at MGDM Kangazha, Kottayam during 1995-2000. Then she moved to St. Thomas Hospital, Chethipuzha and worked there during 2001-2006. Then she worked at Vijaya Fertility Centre, Ernakulam for one year. After that she re-joined at Karothukuzhy Hospital and worked there during the period 2006-2009. Prior to joining with Mar Sleeva Medicity Palai she worked as Senior Consultant Obstetrics & Gynaecology at St. Joseph Hospital, Kothamangalam, Ernakulam during the period 2009-2020.
