Dr. Rajeev P.B. is a distinguished Senior Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with over 14 years of extensive experience in joint replacement surgery, arthroscopy, sports medicine, and pelvic-acetabular trauma. He has extensive experience in complex and revision joint replacements, arthroscopy, sports injury management, and pelvic-acetabular trauma surgery. He is particularly skilled in rare pelvic-acetabular procedures, complex trauma surgeries, bone tumor resection, limb salvage surgery, and limb deformity correction.
Dr. Rajeev has performed more than 3,500 joint replacements independently, including primary and revision knee replacements, hip replacements, total shoulder arthroplasty, and reverse shoulder arthroplasty. Over 5,000 arthroscopic surgeries of the knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle have been completed, including ACL reconstruction, PCL reconstruction, MPFL reconstruction, multi-ligament reconstruction, meniscal surgeries, cartilage preservation procedures, rotator cuff repair, remplissage, and Latarjet procedures.
Dr. Rajeev P.B. is the first surgeon in Kerala to perform bone cartilage allograft transplantation and is among the select orthopedic surgeons performing trochleoplasty, allograft ligament reconstruction for sports injuries, pelvic and acetabular fracture fixation, and total femur replacement surgery.
In addition to clinical practice, consultancy is provided to professional sports clubs and training institutes, supporting advanced sports injury management and athlete rehabilitation.
