The Department of Surgical Gastroenterology broadly concerns itself with the surgeries of both upper Gastro-Intestinal (GI) tract and Lower GI tract such as the oesophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, rectum, liver and pancreas. Mar Sleeva Medicity Palai is well positioned to provide a comprehensive suite of treatments and diagnostic procedures for various GI disorders, benign and cancerous diseases of the digestive tract. Modern advances in the field of surgery such as Minimal access surgery or keyhole surgery and organ transplantation has further widened the scope of services offered by the surgical gastroenterology department.
