Dr. Manjula completed her MBBS from the Government Medical College, Kottayam in 1999. She then pursued her Post Graduation in General Medicine and completed her MD in 2003 from the Government Medical College Hospital in Madurai. She went on to attain her DM in Nephrology from the Government Medical College, Kottayam in 2007 with a Gold Medal and first rank. Dr. Manjula also secured her MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians of UK in 2009 and has three international papers to her credit.
Dr. Manjula’s special area of expertise is in Renal Transplantation.

Dr. Manjula has nearly 15 years of experience in the field of Nephrology. During the span of her career, she has served as Assistant Professor in Nephrology at the Government Medical College in Kottayam and as Senior Consultant and Head of the Nephrology Department, Muthoot Medical Centre Kozhencherry & Pathanamthitta. Prior to joining Mar Sleeva Medicity Palai, she was Senior Consultant & Head of Renal Transplant Services at Raihan Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Erattupetta.
She is a true pioneer in renal transplant programme within the private health sector of Kottayam district and has done three successful renal transplants over 24 hours, which truly is a landmark in the history of renal transplant in the state.
