Launch of Free AI Enabled Breast Cancer Screening Program at Mar Sleeva Medicity Palai
Mar Sleeva Medicity Palai has launched the Free Thermalytix AI Breast Cancer Screening Program to help women detect breast cancer early. Dr Nisha Jose K Mani inaugurated the programme in the presence of Monsignor Rev Dr Joseph Kaniyodikkal, Managing Director of Mar Sleeva Medicity Palai.
The screening uses Thermalytix, an AI-driven and radiation-free method that reads thermal patterns on the breast. It helps identify early signs of abnormalities and works well for women of all age groups, including those with dense breast tissue. This makes it a strong support tool along with regular breast screening methods.
The programme encourages routine screening and aims to improve early detection. Women can avail the screening free of cost for one year. As part of the Shalabham initiative, Mar Sleeva Medicity Palai will conduct screening camps and awareness sessions in collaboration with Rotary’s Opole programme.
